The Six Value Statements of a Total Leader1. It must be the purpose, responsibility and top priority of anyone in a leadership position to bring the greatest possible value to the organization in everything that they do. 2. In order to create sustained value outside of themselves, the leader must first ensure that they are driving the greatest value in their own attitude, behaviors and actions. 3. In order to create the greatest possible value for the organization a leader must gain optimal performance from each and every individual on their team. 4. In order to create the greatest possible value for the organization, the leader must identify "Key Partnering Relationships" (internal partners, customers, suppliers, vendors, etc.) and build and maintain a strong collaboration with each of them. 5. In order to create the greatest possible value for the organization, the leader must maintain the highest level of effectiveness and efficiency from their department's resources and work processes. 6. In order to create the greatest possible value for the organization, the leader must use sound problem solving and decision making techniques to quickly and effectively close gaps in their people, processes and resources. |
